Divine Healing
I enjoy discussing everything in the Bible, but talking about divine healing is my passion. I love people and it breaks my heart to see them suffering with pain, sickness, and disease. My hope is that I can help you by sharing what God’s word says about Jesus and healing, and by encouraging you to believe it.
A Long and Winding Road
I’ve been on my healing journey for over a decade, and I’m amazed to see where the path has led. I started out not knowing or understanding what Jesus’ sacrifice purchased for us. I thought His payment had only cleared our sins and saved us from hell. I didn’t know that there was much more to it than that. I didn’t understand that by His punishment for our sin Jesus had redeemed us from the curse of sickness and disease. This knowledge renewed my mind about healing and changed my life.
The Journey That Never Ends
I don’t have divine healing all figured out, but I understand much more now. It has been several years since sickness got the upper hand on me and I’m grateful for that. I’ve learned that healing begins in our minds, not our bodies. I used to believe that my body ran the show, but I’ve come to think differently. It will run the show if I give it that power, but I now give that power to God’s Spirit. I just have to co-operate by exercising control over my soul – my mind, will, and emotions. Once we get those in agreement with God’s word, the body responds to the healing power of the Spirit. It was a battle at first because my mind was thinking the wrong things, my negative emotions got the better of me, and my will was following the world instead of The Word. I responded to sickness the same as everyone else. Not anymore!
Finding Faith – and Hope
